December with Marilyn

As Hugh Hefner started his first Playboy issue with Marilyn Monroe on the cover, in December 1953, I decided to do my first post about this beautiful and influential woman, in December 2010. 

Marilyn Monroe has been named the greatest blonde of all time. Her platinum blonde became her trademark, along with her bright red lips. It's amazing that even now, almost half a century after her death, she is still a favorite and inspires thousands of women all over the world. Her hair is synonymous with 1950s glamour, but it has stood the test of time against hair styles and colors which have come and gone over the years."
